Salvation was Dumbass’ foray into the world of metal. It was a bit of a strange step, and was
never repeated, but here it is. We recorded Salvation in a professional studio over the
course of 2 very long nights (from 6pm, after I had finished a full day of work, we recorded
until 8 in the morning). There are still some good noise-rock moments on here, but the
metal influence is pervasive. This is probably my least favourite Dumbass album, and after
recording it, I shifted direction musically back to the sort of thing I had been doing with Hell.
Nonetheless, here it is.
