Message from Winston (Mr. Spooky's manservant):

Here are the basics, more details will follow:

From a peripheral branch of the Luxembourg roayl family Mr. Leopold Spooky was
shipped off to Canada to live off a fairly handsome anual allowence after his attempt
to claim the throne at an early age in the late 1980s. From his new home base in
Vancouver Canada he made several trips to various sin-pits around the world. It
was on these trips that he met the other musicians who would later join his Mr.
Spooky Band.

In Tangier he met his right hand man Dr. Roboto who was performing in a local
opium den with his then band "Dr. Roboto and the Pink Pussycats." The two have
been inseperable ever since.

In Hambug's red-light district he ran into Heinrich Schultz who he learned was a
guitar player and extremely quick to resort to using his switchblade in many
situations (no matter how inappropriate).

Spooky and Roboto met Johnny Devious in Egypt. Devious was heavily involved in
the illegal smuggling of antiquities. Devious took an instant dislike to the two
(especially Roboto), but was blackmailed into joining the band when they
discovered he played sax.

Animal, the schizophrenic drummer/drum programmer of the band is the only
Vanouver local. They discovered him near the police station at main and hastings
sniffing an ether soaked rag and drumming on the sidewalk.

Ricky "punk-bitch" steves met Mr. Spooky in a Tokyo massage parlour where he
was both an employee (providing relaxing synthesizer background music) and
frequent customer. Mr. Spooky was enchanted by Steves' playing and demanded
that he come to canada to join the band.

Jimmy Scalvos, from the slums of Athens, joined the band after wandering onstage
with them while they were playing in a local dive in Greece.

The most recent additions to the band, the snake charmer and Jean-Pierre le
Scrottom, didn't so much join the band as began hanging around back stage with
them as they me them in Marseille and Istanbul respectively. They moved from
backstage to onstage without anyone really noticing and as far as I can tell Mr.
Spooky simply forgot that they were not in the band.

Jean-Pierre le Scrotum:

Bass, Czech beer, brass knuckles.

The Snake Charmer:

Guitar, leather, Moroccan hashish.

Scruffy:

Road manager, go-between.
